LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — More curfew orders were in effect for the Southland Wednesday as protests continued across the region.

  • Los Angeles County
    • Countywide curfew issued from 9 p.m. until 5 a.m. Thursday.
  • Beverly Hills
    • Citywide curfew from 4 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday
    • Business District curfew from 1 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday
  • Culver City
    • Citywide curfew from 6 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday
  • Santa Monica
    • Citywide curfew from 6 p.m. Wednesday to 6 a.m. Thursday
  • Long beach
    • Citywide curfew from 9 p.m. Wednesday to 5 a.m. Thursday
  • West Hollywood
    • Citywide curfew from 9 p.m. Wednesday to sunrise on Thursday

Los Angeles Police Chief Michel Moore Tuesday said that 2,700 people have so far been arrested by his agency since the protests began. 2,500 of those were arrested for violating curfew for refusing to disperse.

    There is no excuse for the government not protecting the small businesses. Why do we pay taxes? The government has broken their contract with the people due to not protecting the property. People need to lock and load to protect themselves since they can not rely upon the government.
    No wonder businesses and people leave town and the state.

    I guess we can see what gun stores are essential businesses…the police not only may not be there in time to help you but they may not show up at all…or have to leave to check out another problem allowing yours to resume or continue.
