Oxnard Police Hoping Public Can Help Them Solve 2014 Cold Case Homicide
OXNARD (CBSLA.com) — Police in Oxnard hope the public can help them solve a cold-case homicide.
Labh Nigah, 55, dropped off his child at Sierra Linda Elementary School and was walking in Sierra Linda Park around 8:45 a.m. when he was attacked and stabbed repeatedly Nov. 13.
An individual was seen running from the scene of the attack westbound through the park onto Holly Street.
Nigah died from his injuries a short time later.
Investigators have yet to determine a motive for the attack that took place in broad daylight.
Nigah was a clerk at a convenience store.

Investigators have interviewed witnesses and they were able to provide a sketch of the suspect.
Investigators believe that there are people in the community that have information that can assist authorities in identifying the suspect.
