Single-Engine Plane Lands Near 405 Freeway In Long Beach
LONG BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Authorities Saturday said a single-engine plane has landed near the 405 Freeway in Long Beach.
The emergency landing occurred on the northbound lanes of the freeway near the Cherry and Orange avenues off-ramps.
The California Highway Patrol reported via Twitter that the northbound 405 Freeway Orange Avenue off-ramp was expected to remain closed.
All other on- and off- ramps were open.
The landing was reported shortly after 1 p.m.
No injuries were reported.
