Brunch is a wonderful thing for a couple reasons. First, you have your choice of breakfast or lunch entrees without having to go to a greasy spoon that serves breakfast all day. Second, it’s the one meal where it’s perfectly acceptable to drink early in the day. Frankly, if you’re going to eat brunch and drink early in the day, you might as well make it a real celebration with champagne drinks. If you’re looking for great places where you can have bottomless mimosas, try these places where you’re sure to walk away satisfied.

Little Sparrow Cafe
300 N. Main St.
Santa Ana, CA 92701
(714) 265-7640
www.littlesparrowcafe.com

Little Sparrow was recently recognized by local magazines as the best restaurant in the county. And for good reason. On the brunch menu here you’ll find standards like Eggs Benedict and pancakes, as well as less traditional items like chorizo and egg tacos and kimchee fried rice with pork belly. No matter what you order, you’ll find bottomless mimosas which the restaurant will keep drinking until you can’t drink anymore. Now that’s a good arrangement.

Cha Cha’s Latin Kitchen

Brea, CA 92821
(714) 255-1040
www.chachaslatinkitchen.com

Lots of places in the county offer brunch, but none of them offer brunch in a setting quite like Cha Cha’s. Here you’ll find a live Latin band performing while you enjoy your two-course brunch, which includes some amazing dishes such as short-rib chilaquiles and fresh mahi mahi. To make this brunch even better, you can add bottomless mimosas for just an additional $6. One visit here and you might have a new favorite spot for brunch.

Matador Cantina
111 N. Harbor Blvd.
Fullerton, CA 92832
(714) 871-8226
www.thematador.com

At Matador, you’ll find some traditional brunch items with the personal touches to make them unique to the restaurant. For example, steak and eggs is on the menu, but this steak is topped with chimichurri sauce and served with hash browns that have pepper jack cheese in them. For an additional $12, you can improve your brunch by adding bottomless mimosas. The only exception is that the bottomless mimosas are not available on holidays. Brunch at Matador is from 9 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Saturdays and Sundays.

Offering delicious dishes like huevos rancheros as well as a breakfast sandwich with eggs and Canadian bacon, the breakfast menu here is pretty typical in selection but not typical in taste. While a lot of places allow you to build your own omelet, here you can also build your own quesadilla or burrito. To top it all off, you can add bottomless mimosas (with orange or cranberry juice) for just an additional $10. It certainly is a good way to start your day on weekends.
