Gabe’s Sports Bar

If you like it rowdy, head to Gabe’s, also known as Steelers heaven by die-hard fans, including Iron City Animals fan club. Bar owner Gabe plans to BBQ and the restaurant is having a potluck but the kitchen will still be open. Get there as early as 10:00 a.m.
The Starting Gate

The Los Alamitos Chapter of The Black and Gold Bridgade is Socal’s oldest and largest Steelers Fan Club. Game time specials include three tacos for $3 and five bottles of domestic beer for $15. Doors open at 8:00 a.m.

Lots of flat screen tvs (15) at this North Hollywood dive bar. The bar opens at 10:00 am and although there is a parking lot out back, it’s easier to park on the street. If you’re planning not to drink, you get free soft drinks and coffee all night.
Steel Pit Sports Grill

The $10 cover buys you a seat and a beer (or drink of your choice) at this sports bar off the 210 freeway. Doors open at noon, although in previous years, the lines have formed as early as 11:00 a.m.. For those of you watching your waist line, order the Roethlis”burger” special. It’s a hamburger patty scrambled with egg whites and Spinach.
Players Sports Bar And Grill

The Orange County home of the Steelers, the bar opens at 11:00 and has standard pub grub like wings, quesadillas and nachos. During game breaks you can play pool or trivia and hang out on the patio.
The Packers have won three Super Bowls and there is a 35-year waiting list for the 81,000 seats that have sold out every game since 1960. Luckily you can watch at these bars.

A fire destroyed The Pub but it’s been rebuilt, along with the Packer’s offensive line. Bratwurst and beer is on the menu. Doors at 11:00 and with 16 years of game showings, the place is promised to be absolutely packed.

This cool little bar is a hotspot for Packer fans on the west side. Game perks include $1 off beer, free half time shots and pizza. Doors open at 6:00 am.

Homesick “sconies” will love this beer and wine bar that has bratwurst, pulled pork and 18 beers on the menu. The parking lot is being closed off for the BBQ and the chef will be grilling hotdogs, Philly Cheesesteaks and chicken sandwiches.

It will cost you $200 for a table of 4 at this Newport pub but you get a $100 gift card back, free t-shirts and an official NFL game program. Standing room at the bar and in the restaurant is free. Doors open at 8:00 and raffles include a Jager Chilling Machine.

This family-owned sports grill has 30 beers on tap and a menu including potato skins, burgers and and sandwiches. Doors open 9:00 a.m. and a breakfast buffet will be served until 2:00 p.m.. Warning there may be the occasional Steelers fan in the crowd.
