The latest among Los Angeles Barcade destinations, EightyTwo offers a minimally-hip, late night watering hole atmosphere with a refined presentation in terms of cocktail programming and retro entertainment. At EightyTwo, you can have a cocktail with cold pressed juice while playing "Pole Position," "Space Invaders," or "Street Fighter II." Becoming a fixture in the Arts District portion of the city, arcade leagues, rotating beer selections, and vintage gaming allows a marriage of worlds that takes gaming away from the couch. During the winter, the Queen Mary drops the house temperature to usher in ice, snow, and the majesty of a winter wonderland on board its decks. Offering adult-focused attractions like an 9 Degree Bar complete with premium vodka tasting, chill counters for fun for mom and dad, as well as family driven activities like Ice Tubing and the Ice Kingdom. While everyone can get into sliding down snow hills on an inner tube, the Ice Kingdom is the result of 2-million pounds of ice, a team of expert ice carvers from China, and generations worth of artistry that transforms a 13-square foot space into an incredible work of very cold art.

Becoming the West Coast's answer to the holiday wonder of Rockefeller Center, the LA Kings roll out their ice outside and onto the Nokia Plaza at L.A. Live to give patrons a chance to strap on some skates for an evening under the lights. Working with the restaurants in the plaza, there is even a Supper & Skate package that makes for a complete date, boasting dinner, skate rental, and a session on the ice for a nice dose of casual romance. While ice is a bit foreign to LA's streets, Angelenos now have the chance to get a real holiday experience.
