Hot dogs are a signature American food item, and one of the great things about them is that you can dress them up in all sorts of ways. Dogzilla has a couple classics: The Plain Jane and the ballpark dog, which is topped with chili cheese and onions. It also has some less common hot dogs like the Furi dog, which is topped with Japanese mayo and nori strips among other things. Another hot dog is topped with spam, gravy, an egg, nori, shallots and onions. You won’t find a hot dog like this anywhere else. Click here to view the Dogzilla schedule.
The Burnt Truck
Burnt isn’t the first word you associate with delicious cuisine, but you’ll certainly find delicious cuisine on The Burnt Truck in the form of sliders. The sliders on this truck aren’t limited to the mini burgers that have become such a popular food item, although you will find Angus cheeseburgers on the menu. This truck also has other comfort favorites like pastrami and peanut butter and jelly with bananas. While it may not be surprising to find burgers on a food truck, one item on the menu is particularly surprising: the grilled Spam topped with a fried quail eggs. Try finding quail eggs on any other food truck.

A great food truck can take an existing food item and improve it by putting its own twist on it. Ice cream sandwiches are good, but they’re even better when the ice cream is sandwiched between two warm cookies. That is exactly what is served on the Chunk-n-Chip truck. It’s like your dream childhood food made reality. Take The Elvis, for example. It’s bananas Foster on a sandwich of peanut butter cookies and topped with bacon. That’s just one of many amazing sandwiches (called Boo-Yahs) available on this truck. You can also design your own with the ice cream and cookies of your choice.
Waffle sandwiches have become pretty popular around Orange County, and Waff-n-Roll is a good example of why. This truck has plenty of entree options including pulled pork, tandoori chicken and a grilled cheese that you wish your mom would have made when you were growing up. This truck also has some great ways to satisfy your sweet tooth like lemon curd and berries, and Nutella with bananas. Be careful with the Nutella sandwich, however. It could be something you come to crave
