Tavern on the Coast has some great happy hour specials from both 4 to 6 and 9 to 10 p.m. on weekdays. Here you’ll find wine by the glass, draft beer and well cocktails for $5 each. Some of the cocktails are extraordinary. The Tavern Old Fashioned (pictured) is made with tangerine marmalade, which is a great complement to the bourbon. Another one to try is the Tavern Martini, made with vodka, lime juice and jalapeno, and garnished with a cucumber slice. If you’re looking for some food to accompany your cocktails, try the Tijuana dog.

Lots of places have happy hour on weekdays, but Harlow’s not only has social hour on weekdays, it also has a social hour from 4 to 7 p.m. on Saturdays where well cocktails are $5. One of the things that make the cocktails here great is the house-made syrups and mixers you’ll find in them. Some of the most popular cocktails here, especially on Martini Monday, are Il Picollo and the hibiscus Cosmo. Il Picollo contains house-made Limoncello and Lambrusco while the hibiscus Cosmo is crafted with house-made hibiscus syrup, vodka and cranberry juice.

Chapter One has happy hour every Monday through Saturday from 3 until 7 p.m. While Monday may be your least favorite day of the work week, it might be the best day to enjoy happy hour here. If you’re looking for happy hour, but you’d like to get started a little earlier than most happy hours, Wild Goose Tavern is the place to visit. Happy hour here is from 2 until 6 p.m. every weekday where you’ll find both well and call drinks for a dollar off the regular price. Among the craft cocktails you’ll find here are the house old-fashioned and a variation of the Moscow Mule made with Tru Vanilla vodka. You may also want to try a root-beer float made with vanilla-infused bourbon.
