Legal Battle Over Prince's $156 Million Estate Comes To An End
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — The long legal battle over the estate of pop superstar Prince has ended.
The Internal Revenue Service and the estate administrator finally agreed on the value of the estate in the amount of $156 million.
Starting next month, that money will be equally divided among a music company and the three oldest of Prince's heirs.
Prince died of a fentanyl overdose in 2016. He did not leave a will.
