LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — A man was shot in the right arm and suffered blunt force trauma to the head during a robbery in Van Nuys.

The shooting occurred just before 8:00 p.m. on Monday evening on Monroe Place.

The 30-year-old man was transferred to the hospital after the reported shooting. According to police, there were three to five suspects. Investigators are unsure if this was an instance of a follow-home robbery.

Police have yet to release a description of the suspects and the condition of the victim is unknown at this time.
