LA County Reports 3,031 New Cases Of COVID-19 Sunday
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — Los Angeles County Sunday reported 3,031 new cases of COVID-19 and eight new deaths, authorities said.
Of those who contracted the coronavirus, there were 1,433 people currently in the hospital.
The rise in cases was being attributed to the highly transmissible Delta variant.
On Saturday, the county reported 4,283 COVID-19 cases, which marked the highest one day total in more than six months.
