Water Main Break Floods Santa Monica Blvd. In Hollywood
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) – A water main break flooded a major thoroughfare in Hollywood early Wednesday morning.
The break occurred in the 6600 block of West Santa Monica Boulevard, at the intersection with Hudson Street.
Los Angeles Department of Water and Power crews were on scene working to shut off the water and begin repairs.
The cause of the break was not confirmed. There was no word of any flooding to surrounding buildings or how many LADWP customers may be without service.
