Authorities Investigating After Body Of Infant Found At Trash Processing Facility In Perris

PERRIS (CBSLA) — Deputies with the Riverside County Sheriff's Department Friday were investigating after body of an infant was found at a trash processing facility in Perris.

According to the department, deputies were called out to the facility in the 1700 block of Goetz Road at about 1 p.m. regarding reports of a body.

Upon arrival, deputies found the body of an infant that had been discarded in the trash and found at the facility.

Authorities said the investigation was continuing and that no further information was available.
