One Person Killed In Wreck On 605 Freeway In Whittier
WHITTIER (CBSLA) – One person was killed in a violent wreck on the 605 Freeway in Whittier Christmas morning.
The crash occurred around 2:30 a.m. on the northbound 605 Freeway near Washington Boulevard.
One person died at the scene, according to California Highway Patrol. It's unclear if anyone else was hurt.
The circumstances of the crash and the number of vehicles involved were not confirmed.
The northbound lanes were closed for several hours but have since reopened.
