'Freedom Is Essential': Protesters In Huntington Beach Say Facilities Should Reopen Fully

HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA) — Though Orange County beaches were open again with social distancing restrictions, that wasn't enough for protesters Saturday who say the beaches should be open without limitation.

In Huntington Beach, protesters turned out near the pier, calling for the beaches and facilities to fully reopen.

The city has not dismissed its lawsuit against Gov. Gavin Newsom, which claims last month's hard closure overstepped local authority.
