Suspect In Custody Following Barricade Situation In South LA
SOUTH LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — A suspect was taken into custody following a barricade situation in South Los Angeles Monday evening.
The Los Angeles Police Department SWAT team responded to a call at 12:40 p.m. regarding a suspect threatening a neighbor's son with some sort of handgun.
The suspect then barricaded themselves inside a home on the 7400 block of Stanford Street.
A robot eventually entered the building, followed by multiple police officers.
It was not immediately known if there were any evacuations.
