Woman Stabbed To Death By Woman In Her 20's In Mid-City Nightclub
LOS ANGELES (CBSLA) — A woman in her 20's was stabbed to death inside a Mid-City nightclub just after 12:30 a.m. Sunday morning.
It happened inside the Catch One nightclub on Pico Boulevard and Mullen Avenue.
Police say the suspect is another woman, also in her 20s, and that she was taken into custody.
Aaron Ridgway used to work security at the club and says Saturday nights are usually a packed house. He's surprised anyone was able to get a weapon through the door.
"I've never seen a scenario like this go down. From what I'm hearing, it's never been like that.... We got microphones in our head, walkie talkies, we're communicating all the time when I was there and it's just unfortunate. Usually [security's] on point, really on point."
