3.0-Magnitude Earthquake Strikes Near Lake Elsinore

LAKE ELSINORE (CBSLA) — A preliminary 3.0-magnitude earthquake struck about six miles away from Lake Elsinore early Thursday morning.

The earthquake was 5.6 miles deep and was felt throughout Riverside County at about 2:50 a.m.

It was followed by a preliminary 2.9-magnitude temblor.

There were no immediate reports of damage or injuries.
