San Diego-Bound Amtrak Passengers Stranded After Pedestrian Is Fatally Struck By Train In Sun Valley

SUN VALLEY (CBSLA)  -- Passengers on a Santa Barbara to San Diego Amtrak train were stranded for three hours Sunday evening after a pedestrian was fatally struck in Sun Valley.

Desmond Shaw in Sky9 said the fatal accident happened around 7 p.m . in the 7400 block of Coldwater Canyon.

The cause of the incident remains under investigation by the LAPD and the Coroner's office.

The Pacific Surfliner was back on its way just after 10 p.m.
