Police say one of the suspects asked to use her cell phone, and when the woman rolled down her window, she was attacked and stabbed. Her husband, Greg Maga, told CBS2 she was stabbed 10 times in the chest.

"Ten stab wounds, major ones, one is all the way to the lungs. And as you know, she's pregnant, so again they're doing the testing this morning to see if everything will be all right there."

Authorities told CBS2's Dave Lopez that the unborn child was not hurt in the attack.

Two suspects got into the woman's car and drove away, but the slammed into as many as five parked cars on Eldora. Surveillance video captured footage of the crash and the two suspects jumping into a getaway car, described as a white Volkswagen Jetta, as neighbors tried to chase them down.

Two suspects were later arrested. Authorities told Lopez they were "actively" searching for a third suspect. Police said the men appeared to be part of an out-of-town gang. Investigators expect to make more arrests. No names were immediately released.

The woman, meanwhile, underwent surgery Thursday and was last reported to be in stable condition.

Maga told CBS2 his wife is 12 weeks pregnant and a first grade school teacher.

"What kind of person, what kind of human beings they were?" Maga asked.
