Remains Found Near Burned House In Antelope Valley

LITTLE ROCK (CBSLA) – Authorities said remains were found Thursday near a burned home in Littlerock.

SKY2 was over the scene around 4 p.m. in the 30900 block of 106th Street where detectives were seen investigating.

Los Angeles County Sheriff's homicide detectives were on scene, along with the coroner's office.

Investigators have not yet determined if the remains are human or animal.

At one point, authorities dragged a burned-out vehicle away from a hole that it may have been sitting over or near.

Investigators were seen digging and combing over the area looking for more evidence and clues.

It is not clear who found the remains and alerted the authorities.
