Rent Hike Forces Closure Of Marie Callender's Flagship Restaurant

MIRACLE MILE (CBSLA) — After 40 years, Marie Callender's flagship restaurant, Callender's Grill will be closing.

The eatery on the Miracle Mile is on Wilshire Boulevard across from the La Brea Tar Pits.

It was expected to close Sunday.

Marie Callender's says the landlord doubled the rent last week forcing them to close.
