Woman Says Hanukkah Displays Were Swiped Not Once, Or Even Twice, But 3 Times

THE WOODLANDS, Texas (CBSLA.com) — A Texas resident says her Hanukkah displays were taken a total of three times.

Sharyn Tornberg Gold told a CBS-affiliated station in Houston she noticed her Hanukkah sign was taken after displaying it in the Woodlands.

And it didn't stop there.

She displayed a second sign, which she says was gone within a couple of hours. Two days later, she decided to give it another try, putting up a third sign.

But, she says, that display was also removed.

"I felt like I was being harassed for being Jewish," Gold told KHOU 11 News, adding that her displays were the only ones that appeared to have been taken.

After learning of what happened, the news station reported that one neighbor stepped in and decorated Gold's entryway.
