Fans Angered After Kanye Exits After 2 Songs At Sacramento Concert; Cancels LA

SACRAMENTO (CBSLA.com) —  Kanye West appears to have angered a lot of fans in Sacramento and Los Angeles this weekend.

In Sacramento Saturday, fans say West took the stage over an hour late at his concert at the Golden 1 Center located on David J. Stern Walk.

The 39-year-old West then reportedly performed two songs, talked for about 20 minutes (including a rant about why he supported Donald Trump, but didn't vote), and then literally dropped the microphone, and walked off stage.

He was recorded on video telling the press to, "get ready, get ready. Cause the show is over." Then the literal mic drop.

That left an angry crowd slowly walking out of the arena, and chanting angry messages.

Some even took to Twitter.

"This dude Kanye just stole money from 22K fans in 25 minutes!" tweeted Anthony Tolliver, a Sacramento Kings player, who was among those in the arena. "Craziest thing I've ever seen in entertainment. 2 songs, rant, walk out. smh"

The Golden 1 Center said in a statement: "We encourage all guests to travel home safely. More information to follow."

Sunday evening, the mercurial rapper and businessman outright canceled a concert scheduled for the Forum.

Tonight's show was already a make-up for another show on November 3 he cut short because he said he was experiencing vocal issues.

Brittney Hopper spoke to ticket holders who could not believe West canceled about three hours before the show was set to begin.

Bright lights at the Forum spelled it out: Show Is Cancelled.

David Garcia says he saved his money to buy a ticket and drove an hour to get to the Forum. He said he is West's number one fan. Make that was.

"I've been fan since like, I'm out of the womb. I just don't really like Kayne right now. I've just lost all respect for Kanye," said Garcia.

Katrina Ceballos was going to be attending her first concert ever.

"I was really amped up and really excited to see him. So now, like honestly, Kanye, I'm done with you." Cebellos said.

Said another upset with West, "It's ridiculous. It's someone who doesn't care about his fans."

There is no word Sunday about why Kanye canceled Sunday evening. He is scheduled to perform in Fresno on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, the Forum tweeted out that fans with tickets for Sunday's show will be reimbursed.
