While the holidays are still technically a few weeks away, the Pacific Symphony under the baton of conductor Richard Kaufman is looking to ignite the spirit of the season a bit ahead of schedule. The Segerstrom will screen the Chris Colombus classic movie, Home Alone, as the symphony simultaneously performs the score during the film in real time. The family-friendly film is a generational treasure and the kind of movie that almost needs to be revisited at least once a year for nostalgia. Being able to see the film with the score performed live will enhance the experience for those familiar with the flick. For those that have never experienced the holidays with Kevin McAllister, this should be especially memorable.
