Crews Investigate Cause Of Smoke Shop Fire In Little Tokyo

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — Firefighters Tuesday investigated the cause of a massive fire that erupted in downtown Los Angeles.

A smoke shop located in the 200 block of South San Pedro Street in Little Tokyo went up in flames Monday night.

The fire started on the second floor of Smoke Tokes, and flames blew through the roof.

The store contained flammable materials such as lighters and matches, which began exploding and sparked intense heat and flames.

It took about 130 firefighters to extinguish the blaze within two hours.

Authorities said the store sells pipes and other smoking accessories.

No injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
