HUNTINGTON BEACH (CBSLA.com) — Lake View Elementary School reopened Wednesday for the first time in nearly two years following an asbestos scare.

This year’s curriculum will be focused on the acronym “STEAM”: Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics.

According to the school district, every classroom has Promethean ActivPanels and furniture that offers flexible teaching and learning spaces.
