Injured Sea Turtle Rehabbed And Set Free In The Pacific

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com)   — An endangered rare sea turtle is now rehabilitated and back in the Pacific Ocean.

Rescuers from the Aquarium of the Pacific in Long Beach took care of the juvenile green sea turtle when it was found in Malibu on Aug. 9 with a fishing hook in its mouth.

After the giving the turtle a little post-surgery rest, aquarium officials returned it to familiar waters Thursday.
