MAR VISTA GARDENS (CBSLA.com) — A lot of elbow grease and a lot of community support has paid off as a Boys & Girls Club, four years in the making, is set to open in Mar Vista Gardens.
Jack and Cindy Jones took a tour of the brand new youth center named in their honor after their $1 million donation.

Officials from the Boys & Girls Club of Santa Monica and the Los Angeles Housing Authority took part in the ribbon cutting for the grand opening.

“This building is going to be filled with kids, having fun,” Cindy Jones said. “When kids smile, it lights up a room.”
