Flores-Ramon then fled four blocks, where his vehicle crashed and injured two more people. The four victims and the motorist were all transported to a hospital.

The mother and daughter were both injured, the daughter seriously. The mother was also hit but her injuries were non considered life-threatening. The other two victims' injuries were minor, authorities said.

The daughter remains hospitalized in serious but stable condition Saturday. The other three patients were treated and released.

CBS2's Adrianna Weingold spoke to witnesses about the horrific crash.

"I saw something fly," said Antonio Morales, "so I thought it was the lady's groceries, cause she had groceries. But as soon as  I heard her call out for her daughter, it was actually her daughter that got hit by the car."

"It's terrible," said Kimberly Escobar, "How do you go out, get drunk,  and think you're going to be okay to drive home. And then hit a little girl and try to get away with it."
