3 Armed Men Wanted In Connection With Home Invasion Robbery In Sherman Oaks

SHERMAN OAKS (CBSLA.com) — Police searched for three armed men Wednesday who tied up a woman and ransacked her home in Sherman Oaks.

The incident unfolded around 11 p.m. Tuesday in the 3900 block of Ventura Canyon, according to police.

The woman was confronted by the suspects as she walked out the front door of her home.

The suspects forced the victim inside of the residence and tied her up while they ransacked the home.

At one point, the woman was able to free herself and escape to a neighbors home where she notified authorities of the home invasion robbery.

The suspects, however, managed to flee from the scene before police arrived.

At this time, it remains unclear what was stolen from the residence.

No injuries were reported.
