OXNARD (CBSLA.com) — Authorities in Oxnard were investigating two unrelated homicides they say occurred six hours apart.
About 5 p.m. Saturday, officers responded to a shooting victim in the 1900 block of N. Ventura Road. When they arrived, they found a man in his 30s with multiple gunshot wounds. Police said a motive for either homicide was not known. Preliminary information indicates that neither appears to be related.
