Wrong-Way Driver, 2 Others Killed In Valencia Crash
VALENCIA (CBSLA.com) — Authorities said a wrong-way driver and two other people were killed early Sunday in a crash on State Route 126.
The stretch of road where the accident took place is described as "notoriously-dangerous."
The crash occurred just before at 1:26 a.m. just east of Piru and just west of the Los Angeles-Ventura county line, several miles west of the Golden State (5) Freeway.
CHP officers said a vehicle had been driven on the wrong side of the highway, which crosses the orchard with four lanes with a center left turn
lane.
The names were not released pending notification of next of kin.
Highway 126 was closed until 6 a.m.
