LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — The Los Angeles Lakers are nearing a deal with Brian Shaw to become the team’s lead assistant coach.

The Lakers recently hired Luke Walton as their head coach, and look to surround Walton with assistants with head coaching experience.
