Man's Body Found In Trunk Of Car Parked At Ontario Mills Mall

ONTARIO (CBSLA.com) — Police Monday discovered the body of an adult man in the trunk of a vehicle at a mall in Ontario.

Ontario Mills Mall security contacted police shortly after 4:00 a.m. to report a suspicious abandoned vehicle on their parking lot.

Upon their arrival, officers smelled a strong odor emitting from a vehicle that had South Carolina license plates.

Authorities discovered the body of a deceased man in the truck of the vehicle.

A preliminary investigation revealed the car was registered to a missing person from South Carolina.

Detectives have not located any signs of foul play or injuries on the body.

The investigation is ongoing.
