Rialto Woman Shares Video Of 2 Men Suspected Of Attempting To Break Into Home

RIALTO (CBSLA.com) — A Rialto homeowner is sharing video of two men suspected of attempting to break into her home earlier this month.

The men were captured on video driving by the home several times April 12 before deciding to approach it.

"I was shocked. To my surprise, there was a broken window. My window was broken," said the woman who asked to be identified as Donna.

She says she caught the duo on her security cameras. They were rolling as the pair walked around the home and knocked on the door to see if anyone was inside.

Donna realized what happened while she was going through her home security video one day.

She saw that her window screen was on the ground. Thinking it was the wind, she decided to go outside and put it back up. But when she got there, she found out that her window had also been broken.

Donna says she then went back to her security footage to figure out who tried to break-in.

"Oh gosh, I felt invaded and I just want to get these guys off the streets," she said.

Footage also captured images of the men taking off a window screen.

After some discussion, one of them is seen picking up a brick and throwing it at the window, which didn't shatter completely. For reasons unknown, the two decided to take off.

"I want to make sure they do not succeed in entering someone else's home," said Donna, who wants the public's help in identifying and catching the suspects.

"In a sense shame them, but not to the extent of getting even with them. I'd like them to learn from their mistakes, she said.
