LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) —While in Denver for the Dodgers’ road trip against the Rockies, outfielder Yasiel Puig stopped by the Chatfield Senior High School Prom after his own game on Saturday night.

Puig is actually friends with the father of one of the girls in the photo.

Puig’s tweet translates to “After winning I came to surprise some students in their prom dance”.

And if you missed it, here’s what is being regarded as the play of the year in the MLB so far, this 310-foot rifle from Puig nailing Rockies SS Trevor Story at 3rd base.
