Video of the incident, which apparently began after another passenger reportedly refused to turn down her loud music, went viral.

The women say it was the airline’s fault.

“The flight attendants failed to take control of the situation before it got to the point where we were physically attacked, humiliated and escorted off the plane as if we were criminals,” said Danielle Fonda-Thomas, a passenger.

They allege that the other passenger was drunk and flight attendants continued to serve her alcohol.

An airline spokesperson denied the allegations.
