RIVERSIDE (CBSLA.com) — A $22 million jackpot purchased at a local doughnut shop in Riverside remains unclaimed but the store’s owner says she already feels like a winner.
“We’re shocked because all of the customers came in and we didn’t even know,” said Evelyn Chu, the owner of Donut Tyme in Riverside, referring to the winning ticket.READ MORE: Food Truck Crashes In Vernon; One Dead
The family owned shop has been around for 22 years and many customers have walked away with hundreds of thousands of dollars.
In fact, the California Lottery has the shop on their website as one of the luckiest stores in the state.

The doughnut shop has been paying out at least 400 winning tickets per week over the past year.
“We’ve had some, we thought it was pretty big,” said Chu. “One time, you know, $105,000. We’ve had $30.000.”
That’s why there is a line out the door.

Meanwhile, the shop is expected to receive $110,000 and hopes to sell many more winning tickets.
