According to Lt. Ron Driscoll, officers were called to Elmer’s residence in the 24300 block of Jackson Avenue about 10:30 a.m. to investigate reports of a deceased woman.

Detectives and a Riverside County deputy coroner conducted a preliminary examination of the 41-year-old victim, Driscoll said. Officials said it was apparent her death was not “accidental or self-inflicted.”
