LOS ANGELES (CBS/AP) — Los Angeles County authorities say a Metro Blue Line train derailed after colliding with a car and injuring one person.

County fire officials say one person was hospitalized with a minor injury. It wasn’t immediately known if the injured person was in the car or train.

According to the preliminary investigation, the motorist made an illegal turn in front of the train and the car was struck, Metro spokesman Mose Ubaldo said.
