LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — An Oakland Raiders linebacker is being investigated to determine whether or not he illegally taunted a police K-9 before the Raiders played the Steelers in Pittsburgh last Sunday.

The player was identified as linebacker Ray-Ray Armstrong, and he could face charges later this week.

Taunting a police dog is a third-degree felony in Pennsylvania.

According to the Sheriff’s report, Armstrong allegedly lifted his shirt, pounded on his chest, and began barking at the K-9, before heading on to the field on Sunday.

The incident was caught on tape and the Sheriff’s Dept. and DA’s office are meeting regarding the potential charges Armstrong could face.
