Distressed Hiker Airlifted From Hollywood Hills

HOLLYWOOD HILLS (CBSLA.com) — A distressed hiker was hoisted into a helicopter from the Hollywood Hills on Friday afternoon, authorities said.

The hiker was airlifted shortly before 2 p.m. from the 1900 block of Runyon Canyon Road, according to the LA Fire Department.

The hiker, described by authorities as a man in his 20s, was in serious condition.
