Price Of Girl Scout Cookies In Inland Empire To Increase To $5 A Box

INLAND EMPIRE (CBSLA.com) — The price for Girl Scout cookies is about to go up for those in the Inland Empire.

The Council, which oversees the troops in San Bernardino and Riverside counties, says next year will mark its first price hike in 13 years.

Each box will cost $5 instead of $4.

Leaders say the money will help offer additional financial aid to girls from low-income homes.

Earlier this year, troops in both Los Angeles and Orange counties raised the prices of cookies as well.
