Woman Hospitalized After Being Shot In South LA
SOUTH LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A woman remained hospitalized in stable condition on Wednesday after being shot in Hyde Park.
Just before 3 a.m., officers responded to a radio call of a shooting with victim located in the 6800 block of 11th Avenue at 71st Street, according to the Los Angeles Police Department.
Upon their arrival, authorities located a woman in her mid 40s inside of a bullet riddled vehicle, suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to her upper torso.
Paramedics transported the victim to a hospital where she underwent surgery.
At this time, no suspect information has been provided.
It remains unclear if the shooting was gang-related.
The investigation is ongoing.
