LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — With the first weekend of college football almost behind us, let's take a look at what the Pac-12 did in the opening weekend of the college football season.

Pac-12 South

#22 Arizona Wildcats: Defeated Texas San Antonio, 42-32

          Top Performer: QB Anu Solomon, 26/36, 229 yards, 4 TD

Utah Utes: Defeated Michigan, 24-17

          Top Performer: RB Devontae Booker, 22 carries, 69 yards, 1 TD.

#13 UCLA Bruins: Defeated Virginia 34-16

          Top Performer: QB Josh Rosen, 28-35, 351 yards, 3 TD.

#8 USC Trojans: Defeated Arkansas State  55-6

        Top Performer: QB Cody Kessler: 17/24, 217 yards, 4 TD

#15 Arizona State Sun Devils: Lost to Texas A&M, 38-17

           Top Performer: QB Mike Bercovici, 25/41, 199 yards, 1 TD

Colorado Buffaloes: Lost to Hawaii, 28-20

          Top Performer: RB Michael Adkins II, 22 carries, 90 yards, 2 TD.

Pac-12 North

Oregon State Beavers: Defeated Weber State, 26-7

          Top Performer: RB Seth Collins, 17 carries, 152 yards.

#7 Oregon Ducks: Defeated Eastern Washington 61-42

              Top Performer: RB Royce Freeman, 21 carries, 180 yards, 3 TD

California Golden Bears: Defeated Grambling State, 73-14

          Top Performer: QB Jared Goff, 24-32, 309 yards, 3 TD

#21 Stanford Cardinal: Lost to Northwestern, 16-6

           Top Performer: RB Christian McCaffrey, 12 carries, 66 yards

Washington Huskies: Lost to #23 Boise State, 16-13

          Top Performer: WR Dwayne Washington, 7 receptions, 53 yards.

Washington State Cougars: Lost to Portland State, 24-17

          Top Performer: QB Luke Falk. 27-41, 289 yards, 2 TD
