21-Year-Old Ontario Man Accused Of Exposing Himself Near Fontana School

FONTANA (CBSLA.com) Authorities in Fontana have announced the arrest of a 21-year-old Ontario man they said exposed himself outside a school.

Officials identified the suspect as Hector Escobedo Rios.

On Monday, around 3 p.m., a 17-year-old girl said she was walking home when Rios called her over while he was sitting in a truck in the church parking lot, north of Fontana High School located on the 9400 block of Citrus Avenue.

The alleged victim told police Rios had his pants unbuttoned. The teen walked back towards the school but not before getting the suspect's license plate.

Rios was arrested for a probation violation and indecent exposure.

He was booked at West Valley Detention Center. Authorities said Rios is currently on probation for a sexual assault conviction from 2012.

Police urged other possible victims to come forward by calling Detective Snyder at (909) 350-7732 or ssnyder@fontana.org.
