Caught On Video: Poodles Living In Sewer Under 5 Freeway Rescued

LOS ANGELES (CBSLA.com) — A pair of poodles struggling to survive in the Los Angeles sewer system were rescued recently.

Pepsi and Cola have been living in the sewer under the Golden State (5) Freeway for months before rescuers from Hope For Paws rescued the dogs.

The dogs – whose white fur was shaggy and dirty gray from living in the sewer -- were hesitant at first because they had been on their own for so long and had become a little afraid of people.

The poodles are living with a foster family as they wait for forever homes.

Contact Maltese Rescue California to apply to adopt Cola and Pepsi.
