Multiple People Injured In Mid-City 4-Vehicle Crash

MID-CITY (CBSLA.com) — As many as five people were injured following a multi-vehicle crash in the Mid-City area.

The crash happened in the 5800 block of W. Venice Boulevard just before 6 p.m. Wednesday.

Sky 2's Stu Mundel said four vehicles were involved in the crash that shut Venice Boulevard in both directions.

As of 6:22 p.m., firefighters were using the Jaws of Life to free one of the victims, reported Mundel.

Of the injured, three were considered to be critical. Of those three, one of them was reported to be a child, age 3.

That child was transported to Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, according to Mundel.
