Candlelight Vigil Planned For Bicyclist, 24, Killed In Montebello Hit-And-Run
MONTEBELLO (CBSLA.com) — Friends and family were planning to hold a Saturday for a bicyclist who was killed in a Montebello hit-and-run crash.
Steven Garcia, 24, who had been hit by two cars about 10:30 p.m. Wednesday at the intersection of Bluff Road and Whittier Boulevard, died about 12:40 a.m. Friday at Los Angeles County-USC Medical Center, Lt. David Smith of the Los
Angeles County coroner's office told San Gabriel Valley Tribune.
Saturday's vigil is scheduled for 8 p.m. at the scene of the crash.
A GoFundMe account has been set up to assist Garcia's family, according to The Tribune.
